Newman Shows Support for Locked Out CBC Employees

This CBC lock out is almost as old as Newman is and he's getting sick of listening to country and western music on the radio. He wants to hear that good old CBC. Don't we all!

Newman visited the Picket Line set up at the east side of the TV building on the Prince Philip Parkway today where he was a big hit. He's been invited back so the picketers can monitor his growth from a puppy to an even bigger boy than he is now.

Let's hope this damned lock out is over before he reaches his full size.

Newman and Maura

This is Newman with his Auntie Maura Hanrahan, prolific author, Newfoundland and Labrador. This day we were truly doing a photo shoot for Maura's website... and had to lure Newman with lots of lamb's lung to sit pretty. He seems to like the whole vibe quite a bit! Seems Maura is enjoying herself too! Myself, behind the camera... I had a great time!

a visitor!!

Last night, under humid skies, Newman and I had a visitor! About 8 inches long fully stretched out, this thing left a shiny streak of slime on the floor. Newman noticed the slug and barked - I saw it and freaked out!... then took a picture.
